The Design Process
Often with our apparel design clients, we have to unpack of the aura and feel they want their audience to get with their new concepts. The questions of who will be wearing this apparel along with demographics are key to getting the right aesthetic. Those questions are answered during our client consultation call.
After the consultation, we go to the drawing board. Ideating concepts and options from popular culture, other influences, and fashion era's play a huge part in the success of apparel design. We provide 3 options for the client to look over during the design review. This is a deep conversation to discuss and breakdown all components of the options. From the review, we use the feedback to create the final design for our client. A process that takes around 3-4 weeks total from consultations, to designing to edits & changes.
